Disputes relating to Children

When disputes concern children, we assess each case individually and in great detail to ensure all options are considered. As members of Resolution, and of the Law Society’s Children Panel, we are committed to identifying the best strategy for you and your family as expediently and cost effectively as possible.

Obviously, where children are concerned, actions and decisions can have long term ramifications, therefore all aspects have to be carefully considered. If after consideration we believe legal action to be the right course for you and your children we will take timely and effective action. If you are worried that your child may be taken overseas without permission, there are a number of preventative measures you can take to include a number of Emergency Court Orders.

We are able to offer public funding provided such cases meet the Legal Services Commission (LSC) domestic violence and abuse criteria which came into effect in April 2013. We are committed to keeping our fees as low as possible in order to be able to continue to assist families with modest financial resources who will fall outside of scope for public funding.
