Des Collins is the Senior Partner and specialises in civil litigation; qualified in 1975 he has been involved in a number of substantial cases. He led his firm's representation of rail crash victims at the Public Inquiries following the Southall and Paddington disasters. He headed up his firm's position as Lead Solicitors in the Air Travel and Deep Vein Thrombosis Group Litigation which came before the House of Lords in 2005.
He is now directing his firm's involvement in the litigation following the Buncefield Oil Terminal Fire and Explosion where the Trial will commence in the Commercial Court in October 2008. February 2009 will see him heading up his firm's position as Lead Solicitors for the Claimants in the Corby Group Litigation Trial which is listed for 13 weeks in the Technology and Construction Court.
