Buncefield Victims Criticise Cover Up - 16/01/06
Victims of the Buncefield blast were this afternoon critical of the internal enquiry which has been set up to investigate the explosions and demanded to know why their approach to the Home Secretary, last week, to set up a Public Inquiry had met with no response whatsoever.
Lawyers from Watford based Collins Solicitors, representing many of the victims share this concern.
Des Collins, Senior Partner, said:-
“The Inquiry should be independent and open. This is neither. In any Inquiry the role of the HSE will have to be examined carefully. How convenient that it will now examine that role itself.”
