Government Commitment to Rail Reform
Collins Solicitors, specialists in transport litigation, have voiced their dismay and concern at the apparent failure of the Government to implement the recommendations of Lord Cullen set out in the Inquiry Report following the Ladbroke Grove disaster.
Speaking shortly after the horrific crash at Potters Bar Senior Partner, Desmond Collins, said:
“All the evidence points to a complete failure to implement the important recommendations for reform set out in the Ladbroke Grove Report. The appallingly high price of that failure is the suffering of the bereaved and injured at Potters Bar. We can only question whether there is in fact any serious commitment on the part of the present administration to railway safety”.
