Separated Parenting Course

Collins Solicitors is offering a special course for separated parents. The course is designed to help separated parents understand what their children need most from them, and to learn how to manage the issues that arise during separation and divorce. The course is aimed both at individuals and couples who have separated.

Covering the following issues, the course will provide practical advice to help parents through what can be a challenging time for the whole family, including:

• Informing the children, and dealing with their questions
• Managing parenting time, the difficulties, the pitfalls and the struggles
• Improving communication with your Ex for the benefit of the children
• The benefits of a parenting agreement

The programme will be run by Angela Goodall, an experienced independent social worker. She has over twenty years’ experience working with families that have faced a wide range of issues and challenges brought about by separation or divorce. She works with parents and with children, to ensure that the children’s needs are met, and their voices heard.

Our experienced family solicitors will also be available to discuss the options available for resolving disputes around separation or divorce which relate to children, but away from the courts.

The programme will take place at Collins’ Watford office (20 Station Road, Watford, WD17 1AR) on Wednesday, 25th March 2015 from 7-9 pm.
