Press Release - Collins Solicitors to hold advice clinics about failed management of cancer referrals at Watford General Hospital

Leading legal experts in clinical negligence available to discuss options with those failed by NHS Trust in charge of Watford General Hospital –

Leading civil litigation law firm Collins Solicitors is to hold a series of clinics at its Watford office for those affected by failings relating to cancer referrals at Watford General Hospital.

More than 800 people, with or suspected to have cancer, are known to have been discharged from the hospital in error. The hospital did nothing about it for more than a year.

Des Collins, Senior Partner of Collins Solicitors, comments: β€œFor those with – or thought to have – cancer it is absolutely critical that hospitals manage every patient with great thought and care.

We feel that it would help those affected to have the opportunity to discuss their concerns and review the options available to them.”

Collins Solicitors in Watford is the leading specialist civil litigation practice in South West Hertfordshire and has wide ranging experience both locally and nationally in successfully representing clients.

The firm has helped those exposed to toxic waste, victims in the major UK rail crashes and those affected by the Buncefield Oil Terminal explosion.

Des Collins successfully led the 11-year fight on behalf of the families of children born with deformities after their mothers were exposed to toxic waste from the former steelworks in Corby.

Those affected who would like to discuss the options available to them are invited to contact Collins Solicitors at 20 Station Road, Watford on 01923 223 324 or collins@collinslaw.co.uk.
